When are the brewery tours?
Saturdays and Sundays: 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm

How long are brewery tours?
Approximately 50 minutes.

What does a brewery tour include?
Beer tasting for 21+, soda tasting for all, and a descriptive tour of the brewing and packaging facility, including details about the brewing process and the brewery’s history

How much do tickets cost?
Tour tickets are $3 for adults aged 21 and older. Tickets are free for those under age 21.

How do I get tickets?
Tickets are only available in person on the day of the tour; first come, first served. Tickets can be purchased at the host stand at the Ipswich Ale Brewer’s Table restaurant starting at noon on the day of the tour.

Can I call ahead to reserve tickets?
Unfortunately no. You can only reserve a ticket in person on the day of the tour.

Can I get tickets online?
Unfortunately no. You can only reserve a ticket in person on the day of the tour.

Can I bring a group on a tour?
Yes! Groups of 10 or more can reserve tickets in advance by contacting the Tour Manager at tours@ipswichalebrewery.com

(you must contact the restaurant separately if your group also wants to reserve a table at the restaurant by calling 978-356-3182)

Can I bring my kids on the tour?
Yes! We even offer a soda tasting, in addition to the beer tasting, on the tour.

Can I bring a stroller?
Unfortunately, no, because there are several sets of stairs along the tour.

Is the tour handicapped accessible?
Unfortunately, no, because there are several sets of stairs along the tour.

What if I’m not 21?
That’s okay! You’re still welcome to take a tour and enjoy a soda tasting.

What if I don’t have my ID?
That’s okay! You’re still welcome to take a tour and enjoy a soda tasting.

Where do I meet for the tour?
Five minutes before your tour begins, please meet your tour guide at the designated area in the Ipswich Ale Brewer’s Table restaurant. (there will be a sign that says “Brewery Tours Meet Here”). PLEASE NOTE: if you are dining at the restaurant, please close your tab and finish your food/drink before your tour begins. Guests cannot bring beer from the restaurant on the tour.

What if I’m late?
Tours do begin on time. If you are late, you can visit the host stand and try to be added to the next available tour.

What should I wear?
It is highly recommended that you wear closed toe shoes. Sandals, flip flops, and heels are not suitable for the brewery tour (so enter at your own risk!). Temperatures can vary drastically along the tour so consider wearing appropriate layers.
