About the event
Take family and friends out to the ballgame nineteenth century style as we play a triple header tournament to honor our beloved umpire Jeff “Graybeard” Peart. Our teams play using 1864 rules. At these fun & historically accurate games, gloves are not allowed, players pitch underhand and a ball caught on one bounce is an out.
Graybeard Cup: Newburyport Clamdiggers vs. Live Oaks 11am Lowell Nine vs. Portsmouth Rockinghams ~ 12:30pm Championship Game ~ 2pm
Historic New England Members - free Nonmembers - $5
Grass field seating; bring blankets and lawn chairs. No reserved seating.
